See the Declaration of Independence!

The Minnesota Office of the Secretary of State is 150 years old this year. One way we are celebrating is by bringing the only surviving printing of our nation's "birth certificate" allowed to travel to St. Paul for a free public exhibition. Catch this incredible opportunity at the Minnesota History Center from May 6-18th, 10-5PM, except Mondays when the Center is closed.  Get more details and background on this inspiring, historic document at the Minnesota Historical Society website, Declaration of Independence page.

Minnesota History

To get a sense of Minnesota's rich civic history, check out the MN150 exhibit at the Minnesota History Center —an exhibit honoring 150 of the most influential people, places, things, and events
that have shaped who we are today. It is inspiring to see just how many important global trends and innovations started right here at the headwaters of the Mississippi. For more information visit the MN150 website at http://www.mnhs.org/exhibits/mn150/.
